SNAKES IN THE GRASS: HOW TO SPOT FAKE FRIENDS
Description
🎙️ Follow Biatch on the Mic wherever you listen so you never miss an episode, and leave a rating if this one hit home!
Some snakes don't hiss. Some sleep beside you, borrow your money, work alongside you, call themselves your friends, and smile in your motherfucking face!
In this raw, unfiltered, and deeply personal episode of Biatch on the Mic, I'm pulling back the grass and talking about some of the most painful, outrageous, and downright unbelievable experiences of my life.
From abusive relationships and a marriage that turned into a nightmare to fake friendships, unpaid loans, financial betrayals, workplace parasites, and people who only show up when they need something — we're exposing the snakes hiding in plain sight.
But this episode isn't just about betrayal. It's also about survival, accountability, learning to recognize genuine love, and appreciating the people who show up when life gets ugly.
A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM KEIONNA
I'm not going to lie to y'all. This was an extremely difficult episode for me to record.
Revisiting some of these experiences meant reopening painful memories, confronting emotions, and talking about situations that I spent years trying to move past.
There were moments when I had to stop, collect myself, and start recording again. This episode took multiple recordings, a whole lot of patience, and more emotional energy than I ever expected.
Some of these stories are funny now. Others still hurt.
I use humor to cope with some of the things I've survived, but please don't mistake my laughter for a lack of pain.
This wasn't just another podcast episode. This was me finding the courage to speak openly about parts of my life that weren't easy to live through, much less talk about publicly.
And if sharing my experiences helps even one person recognize a dangerous situation, feel less alone, or find the strength to put themselves first, then every difficult moment recording this episode was worth it.
Because sometimes the strongest wildflowers grow through the ugliest shit. 🌸
