The phone lines open for an honest conversation about nearly four years without alcohol or hard drugs, making amends, rebuilding a life, trusting something greater than yourself, and understanding that real change arrives in phases. Like a bonsai tree, the work may require years of care before anything appears above the dirt.
The conversation eventually travels through Kill Tony, the Comedy Mothership, sports, discipline, identity, and the community of damaged goods determined to become damaged greats.
