Congruence | The Joker in the Rye w/ Tim Warner
Description
The inside is beginning to appear on the outside.
Six months after beginning this livestream with very little happening in his Comedy career, Tim is now hosting the Kill Tony after mic at Shakespeare’s, performing weekly, earning spots around Austin, and preparing for the Funniest Person in Austin contest. The individual moments may appear small, but together they reveal something larger: congruence.
Tim reflects on the interior work required to calm the storm, make better decisions, and become the person capable of handling the opportunities now appearing. He also shares an emotional reunion with an old fraternity brother who challenged years of shame by revealing a different perspective: the people Tim thought he disappointed are proud of him for continuing.
The episode also explores why disappointment begins long before the final result, how genuine preparation changes the meaning of success, and why Tim refuses to exploit the unpredictable people who make his late night Comedy room so entertaining.
Suit up. Show up. Be open. Be available.
Relax. Work. Trust. Believe. Protect the mission.
Only time will tell, and Tim cannot wait to hear what time has to say.
