Episode Details

What happens when Santa’s sleigh breaks down in the Australian outback? He needs a new way to deliver Christmas presents, and a friendly dingo has an unusual answer: an old red car that Santa names Dissledoo.

With a koala, kookaburra and magpie by his side, Santa swaps snowy Christmas traditions for board shorts, sunglasses and an adventurous drive through Australia’s tropical north. But delivering presents is never quite as simple as he expects. A punctured tyre, a hot radiator, decorations flying from the roof and a flooded creek each bring a new challenge. Even a crocodile has a part to play.

Written by Jade Maître and illustrated by Faishal Aziz, Dissledoo is a bright, funny illustrated Christmas story about friendship, co-operation and finding help when plans go wrong. Children can discover Australian animals and summer Christmas weather while noticing the different ways friends solve problems together.
