What happens when the players you grew up competing alongside go on to win on tour—and you’re left wondering, “Why isn’t it happening for me too?”
In this episode, I sit down with my good friend and fellow PGA Member, Peter. We completed our traineeships at the same time, travelled to events together and supported each other through mental health challenges.
We have an honest conversation about the pressures of playing professionally, the expectations we place on ourselves and how difficult it can be to avoid comparing your journey with someone else’s. Having been part of a state team alongside players who went on to win on tour in the USA, Peter shares his perspective on watching their success while navigating his own path.
We also talk coaching, the lessons we’ve learned and how we can help guide the next generation through the highs and lows of the game.
A conversation about friendship, perspective and finding your own way in golf.

As mentioned in my podcasts, I do offer training programs to help you get better at your practice outside of your lessons with your coach!
