The final week of October looks lively. Mercury retrograde is underway as of Saturday, October 24th, bringing a bit more frenzy and flair into the mix. Both Mercury and Venus are now retrograde in Libra buzzing around the debilitated Sun, as Venus moves toward the early degrees of Libra and directly into Rahu’s aspect. This is an “expect the unexpected” week ahead.

The trio in Libra is moving things around, and in the shifting, we may find forgotten ideas, derelict projects, and stale resources. It’s time to clean, sort, repair and repurpose. On Sunday, the Moon pushes off the dock, leaving Saturn behind. Squeezing through the portal of release that lies between the signs of Pisces and Aries, under the direct aspect of Jupiter, we may feel a bit more buoyant as the Moon becomes full in Ashwini nakshatra.

Venus has receded away from the Sun as he reaches full debility this week, with his next major encounter coming with retrograde Mercury during the first week of November. The Moon wanes after Sunday, but maintains brightness and clarity, moving through the vacant signs of Aries, Taurus, and Gemini by week’s end. Empty signs give the Moon perspective but can also result in feelings of isolation; given the frenzy in Libra, this may look like the need to find alone time to recharge. 

The rapid transit of Jupiter through Cancer, which began in early May, comes to a close as Jupiter moves into Leo on Friday. The average planetary speed of Jupiter has been going double time for months, making it difficult to gather the fruits of this exalted state. Things are about to change as Jupiter pushes into Leo, where he encounters Ketu for the south node’s final month there. Jupiter is already slowing his roll. What lies ahead in November could reveal much about what we will be working with during the first half of 2027.

This week, let the whirlwind energy empty drawers, shelves, and storage places in order to reveal which resources from the past have become liabilities in the present or have gained potential for the future.
