Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ is furious after learning Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) has known Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor) since at least his boarding school days. EJ counted on Rita as a blindly loyal DiMera fixture, but she has her own agenda and could be the key to his fall from power. She was the longtime personal assistant to Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), so she knows the family's crimes, and she helped EJ get rid of evil lookalike Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering).

DOOL spoilers show that Rita oversaw the Tom Horton Free Clinic's secret lab and coordinated sneaky lab work with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton), while Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) hated seeing her roam the hospital with her clipboard. She helped EJ kidnap Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) until Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) let Kristen go. Then the cracks appeared. Instead of killing Devlin St. John (John Oliver) as ordered, Rita injected him with CRS-17, shipped him off in a pod, and tricked EJ into forgetting he ever met John.

Days of our Lives spoilers indicate Rita has only gotten more devious. She stole Stefano's Black Phoenix ring and shipped it to Dominic, likely on Stefano's pre-death orders. She dropped clues to Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) after Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) got the chess set from Stefano's bequest. She then denied everything to Marlena and EJ before vanishing, possibly to Venice. Meanwhile, EJ has Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) using her ISA skills to dig for the truth.

DOOL spoilers tease EJ's confrontation with Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti). EJ warns him not to hurt Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), and Dante paints him as a jealous ex. Dante also recalls a woman whose name started with R dropping young Dominic off at school, and he confirms it was Rita. EJ feels deeply betrayed, especially with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) ratting him out and the George O'Halloran (Michael Rose) crisis after George shot Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Xander shot him back.

Days of our Lives spoilers suggest Dominic arrives in Salem on Monday, November 2, maybe after a masked glimpse on October 30, with Rita at his side. Some viewers even wonder if Rita carried an embryo made from Marlena's eggs, much like Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) and her bond with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) after stealing Kate Roberts' (Lauren Koslow) embryo. Either way, Rita holds decades of receipts on EJ.
