October 23, 2026: Michigan State heads to Milwaukee, WI for its final exhibition game of the season against Shaka Smart and his Marquette Golden Eagles. Marquette is coming off a very challenging year where they missed the NCAA tournament for they first time in 5 years and finished 12-20. They are expected to be much improved and projected fourth in the Big East.

MSU will try and work out some of the demons from the game against UConn where they got hammered on the defensive glass and had a very leaky defense. We expect 3 point shooting to improve but the transition game was also nonexistent so they need to get that going as well.
