The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that things take a disturbing turn this week for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and her fake surrogacy scheme. Finn (Tanner Novlan) hit the end of his rope at the hospital on Wednesday. He raged that Steffy made such a huge decision without his input, and his mom Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was just as outraged. Finn even went off on Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) for using his wife's body without talking to him first. Meanwhile, Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) tried to make him see what an incredible gift Steffy is giving them.

B&B spoilers show that the two doctors want more information, so Li does a blood draw on Thursday. By the end of the week, the hospital lab confirms Steffy is pregnant. Carter is smiling at Daphne in Finn's office while she looks overjoyed, convinced her baby dream is finally coming true. Li then pulls out a fetal Doppler to hear the heartbeat, but Steffy Forrester Finnegan has bigger worries. An ultrasound is the main tool for revealing gestational age, and one scan could show she's further along than she should be. Refusing basic maternal care would only make Finn and Li suspicious, and on Friday they investigate Steffy's pregnancy.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) could get pulled into this mess, both as Steffy's mom and as a doctor at the hospital. Taylor has been worried ever since Steffy came home from Monaco after the Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) debacle. She even told Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that Steffy seems stressed and off, and it would strike her as strange that Steffy never mentioned considering surrogacy. Hitting a breaking point could push Steffy Forrester to confess everything, from waking up with Carter on the CEO sofa to the shock of a pregnancy when she hadn't slept with Finn in a while.

B&B spoilers suggest Taylor will urge Steffy to come clean, insisting this is Sheila's fault, not hers. Steffy may argue it's too late with Daphne Rose Walton thrilled and Finn buying the lie. Taylor Hayes has done anything for Steffy before, even shooting Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in the back. She could modify hospital records or slip someone else's early ultrasound under Steffy's name. A doctor's help could keep Carter Walton's scheme alive longer, but this lie is bound to blow up eventually.
