General Hospital spoilers suggest Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) isn't fighting for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) out of the goodness of her heart. Monet has held a grudge against her half-sister Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) since the moment she hit town, so her push to take on Curtis as a client is no coincidence. There's a real chance she gets Curtis out of prison only to try seducing him away from Jordan.

GH spoilers reveal that Monet paid a late-night visit to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) about her appeal for Curtis Ashford. She asked Portia to do an interview about how Desmond Robinson Ashford (Yirah Aviah Lafond) needs his father, then dropped the bombshell that she's Jordan's half-sister. Isaiah assumed she took the case to help Jordan, but Monet Mitchell said that when Jordan wants something, she takes it, just like she inserted herself into Portia's marriage. The look on Monet's face said she was speaking from experience. After Portia agreed, Monet called Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to say she got exactly what she wanted.

General Hospital spoilers hint that revenge is Monet's real reason for coming to Port Charles, possibly because Jordan Ashford stole a guy from her years ago. It would fit a pattern. Jordan was married to Curtis's brother Tommy Ashford when she slept with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), got pregnant with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), and let Tommy believe he was the dad. When the truth came out, Tommy pulled a gun on Shawn, who shot him in self-defense, and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) blamed Jordan for his death.

GH spoilers indicate a romance is brewing between Jordan and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), who's helping her get scar removal surgery. The actress who plays Jordan has said Michael will be a real temptation. If Monet spots that connection, she could point it out to Curtis Ashford, who already knows Jordan's history. Curtis is hotheaded enough that he landed in Pentonville for exploding on Isaiah, so an angry Curtis could fall right into Monet's arms once she frees him. That would set up a big couple swap, with Portia possibly landing on Monet's side.
