Man, today has been brutal.
I’m fairly used to the up-and-down nature of Substack. And the social media grind that comes with growing it. I pride myself on rarely being too up or too down in the efforts I make daily to grow this thing into a force to be reckoned with.
But once in a while, a few things go wrong at once. And it fucks with my head. I’m only human, after all.
I talk about what happened this morning and how it had me questioning this entire Substack thing of mine. Fortunately, talking about it here helped me to quit thinking crazy thoughts. There’s no way I’d ever want to give up doing this full time to work some shit job.
I can’t see myself working in a place like the one in the movie “The Office.” I don’t think most of you would want me doing this part-time. I appreciate your support more than you know.
