Back to EpisodesPower of Man #424 - “King On a Hill Ministries” with Founder Jason Tatlock
Description
Jason Tatlock, PhD, is a career professor of history, in which he specializes in the ancient Mediterranean world, including ancient Israel and the study of human sacrifice. He once served as the historical consultant and a guest for a Discovery Channel series on the latter.
His extra-curricular passion is to serve the body of Christ. He and his wife, Krista, are co-founders of King on a Hill Ministries, which focuses on shepherding pastors in a global context. Currently, they are blessed with discipleship connections in Uganda, Kenya, Pakistan, and India. Jason regularly preaches online to enslaved brick-workers in Pakistan, where God is pouring out miracles. One of his favorite venues for connecting with believers is through devotional books. His first work, Reflections on the Sacrificial Death of Jesus Christ (Cascade Books, 2019), explores ancient sacrificial concepts infused in the Bible. The newest release, With: More Than a Word (Resources Publications, 2026) is the first in a new series that takes a single word of Scripture and dives into what that word represents for daily Christian life.
