AEREDIUM launched The Chair and MCP Connector on 13 October 2026, two products that place a policy engine between AI agents and the systems they use. Every proposed action is approved, denied or held for human review. Each decision is signed and recorded. The Chair governs AI coding agents, supports Claude Code through a plugin and offers a governed shell for other agents including OpenAI's, at $10 per chair per month after a 30-day free trial. MCP Connector gives each agent its own wallet, policy and owner, with Payer and Trader roles, threshold signatures from secure enclaves and support for Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base. JetBrains found that 90% of professional developers use AI coding agents weekly. Gartner forecasts agentic AI in 33% of enterprise software by 2028.
