For the first time since 2002, the Miami Hurricanes are the No. 1 team in the country, and the boys have been waiting 24 years to say it out loud. Ro, Jenners, Scoop and Toast argue over whether a midseason ranking actually means anything (Mario says no trophies get handed out in October), and Ro makes the case that none of this happened by accident. Five years of recruiting, rebuilding and getting punched in the face got Miami here, and now a whole generation of kids gets to see the U on top.

Jenners reports back from Atlanta sports radio, where every Georgia loss somehow turned into a conversation about Miami's schedule. That leads to the NIL tweet that blew up, Ro calling the SEC the college Karens, and a check on the Top 25 (Utah, who have you played?). We also hear Mario on the Joe Rose Show, Mark Fletcher giving all the credit to Javion Mallory after the Florida State win, and our friend Josh Pray having a full meltdown about Miami being No. 1.

Then it's on to Pitt.
