Gardaí recently warned that staff wearing masks at nail bars might be using them to cover up the fact that they are victims of human trafficking. Smuggling people into the country to exploit them is a growing problem in Ireland. Det Supt Derek Maguire of the Garda National Protective Services Bureau, works in this area.
