California awarded nearly $369 million in federal recovery funds from the devastating 2018 wildfires to affordable-housing developers without requiring them to house wildfire survivors. The California Post investigation found that while developers received major awards, some fire victims were still struggling to rebuild nearly eight years later. State officials defend the spending as replacing lost housing, but critics question who actually benefits from disaster relief.

WNBA SNUBS ANTHEM (FOX NEWS / OUTKICK)
