VisionQuest Episodes 1–2: Are We Hooked Yet?
Description
Ultron has plenty to say, but has VisionQuest given us enough reason to keep watching? Kevin, Danny, and Eli discuss the first two episodes of Marvel's Disney+ series—and they aren't equally eager to continue.
After connecting the dots from WandaVision and Agatha All Along, we explore Vision's unusual AI household, James Spader's scene-stealing return as Ultron, and the father-and-son relationships driving the story. We also debate the pacing, the rules of Vision's digital world, a major sacrifice, and why a hero who dispatches henchmen so easily keeps letting the bounty hunter walk away.
Plus, Paladin gets an unexpected wrestling comparison, Danny explains how streaming ads disrupt his viewing experience, and we briefly discuss the Disney Imagination cruise ship coming to Japan.
Spoiler warning: This episode includes major spoilers for VisionQuest Episodes 1 and 2, along with discussion of WandaVision and Agatha All Along.
Has VisionQuest hooked you, or are you waiting to binge the whole series? Let us know!
