The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) had a seat, technically third row, when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) married Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). He was there as the plus one for bridesmaid Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), a strange choice given that Chelsea cheated with Adam while he was with Sally. Since Billy hates him, that odd bridesmaid setup looks like the only way to get Adam in the room, and the intense look on his face when he saw Sally in her wedding dress said plenty.

Y&R spoilers show that when Sally said in her vows that she thought she'd found the right man before, Adam looked very uncomfortable, and Chelsea glanced right at him. Both of them know things would be different if he hadn't cheated. After Billy brushed off his sincere congratulations, Adam overheard Sally talking with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell), then followed her up to her suite. He got choked up telling Sally he just wants her to be happy, and then her water broke.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Billy ignored Adam's repeated calls, partly out of hatred and partly out of worry for his mom, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), who had a heart attack and is dying. Audra had hidden Sally's phone, the suite's phone was broken and Adam's phone died, so Adam Newman delivered Sally's baby girl himself. Mid-labor, Sally reassured him this wasn't like baby Ava, the daughter they lost. Afterward, while the new parents cooed over their daughter, Adam just lurked, a bundle of emotions.

Y&R spoilers tease that Chelsea sees a new side to Adam, and by week's end Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offers him advice. Adam truly loves Chelsea, but regret over the future he threw away with Sally could send him somewhere dark. After far too long as a sidekick to Nick's nonsense and The Mustache's schemes, a twisted obsession would give Adam a meaty story of his own.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Billy still blames Adam for the death of his daughter, Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), even though Billy left her alone and Adam didn't know he'd hit her until later, when he hid evidence. If Adam gets close to Sally and the baby, Billy might see it as Adam trying to take another child from him. Sally may sympathize, but Billy could lose it and drift toward the dark side himself.
