A 208-apartment building in Yonkers has city approval, but its developer says construction cannot start until a second building is approved. We walk through the Bridgewater project's second building, the financing condition the developer described to the Yonkers Planning Board, and what the reporting does not say.

Bridgewater South would add 177 apartments, with 18 priced as affordable according to the developer. The company is due back before the Planning Board in November. Also: dates for the Board of Legislators' public input sessions on the county's 2027 budgets.
