Missouri roadside attractions worth a detour from giant pecans to a giant fork

Published 1 week, 5 days ago
Description

Barbara Baird admits she has driven out of her way to see oddball roadside attractions and says it can be some of the most fun stops on a Missouri road trip. From a giant fork and noodle in Springfield to a huge rocking chair along Route 66, a massive pecan in Brunswick, and even a replica of the Hubble Space Telescope in Marshfield. Missouri has plenty of strange things worth pulling off the road to see.

Barbara joins Show Me Today with some of her favorite roadside attractions and a case for taking the occasional detour.
