The NBA is BACK! Opening Day of the 2026-27 season features three massive matchups: LeBron James and Jaylen Brown's Philadelphia 76ers vs. the defending champion New York Knicks, Victor Wembanyama's Spurs vs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's Thunder, and Celtics vs. Pistons.

Wes Goldberg, Matt Moore and Haize preview all three games on Locked On NBA Daily, starting with the Knicks' championship ring ceremony at Madison Square Garden. Can LeBron, Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid spoil New York's celebration? Are the Sixers the Knicks' biggest threat in the Eastern Conference?

Then, the Oklahoma City Thunder face their biggest nemesis in a Western Conference Finals rematch. After struggling against Wembanyama and San Antonio last season, is this already a must-win game for OKC? And how much pressure is on Chet Holmgren?

Plus, the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons open the season looking to bounce back from disappointing playoff exits. Which team has more to prove?
