The Lord Is My LIght
Description
The heavens may turn black. The seas may rise like mountains. And every familiar shore may vanish into darkness. BUT THE LIGHT OF GOD SHALL NOT BE EXTINGUISHED!
Picture a lone fisherman standing upon a storm-worn coast, watching a lighthouse pierce the midnight gloom. The rocks remain. The waves still thunder. But beyond the darkness burns a light that refuses to surrender.
And so it is with the faithful soul.
In Psalm 27:1, David declares, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?”
Friend, fear may knock upon your door. Sorrow may darken your horizon. The world may tremble beneath your feet.
But when the LORD is your light, darkness does not get the final word!
Join us as we begin Week 18, The Light That Leads Us Home, and discover why Christian courage is not the absence of storms, but unwavering trust in the God who reigns above them.
For the darkness may swallow the horizon, the storm may conceal the shore, and the night may seem without end...
BUT NO DARKNESS ON EARTH CAN EXTINGUISH THE LIGHT OF HEAVEN!
The Bible our chart. Christ our Captain. Heaven our harbor.
Safe sailing, friends.
