Have We Finally Found Noah's Ark? | Andrew Jones
Season 1
Episode 62
Published 8 hours ago
Description
Could the archaeological remains of Noah’s Ark still exist in the mountains of Ararat?
Biblical researcher Andrew Jones joins The Word at War to examine the Durupınar formation in eastern Turkey—a massive boat-shaped site that has fascinated researchers for decades.
Andrew traces the site's modern history and explains why Genesis describes the Ark resting in the “mountains of Ararat” rather than identifying a single mountain. He also examines historical aerial photographs, declassified satellite imagery, ground-penetrating radar, soil analysis and anomalies researchers have detected beneath the formation.
Among the most intriguing findings are unusual differences between soil inside and outside the formation and radar data Andrew says reveals possible right angles, parallel structures, corridors and underground voids.
Originally released exclusively to Premium members, this conversation is being declassified from the War Room archives as Noah’s Ark once again enters the news.
Is Durupınar simply an unusual geological formation—or could something extraordinary be buried beneath it?
