SO MUCH HAPPENING LAST NIGHT. I examine Ukrainian drone raid on St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, where targets included the St. Petersburg oil terminal, the Richey fuel depot, the Ship Fairway Bridge, an Ozon logistics warehouse, and VK data-center infrastructure. With at least 520 Ukrainian drones reportedly launched, the central strategic question is whether Russia’s concentration of air defenses around Moscow has left its second city, port, fuel network, and military logistics more exposed. I also assess reported airport disruption, internet outages, and the significance of dual-use infrastructure.

I then compare those strikes with Russia’s continuing attacks on Ukrainian energy and civilian areas despite the announced energy ceasefire. I cover reported strikes in Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Odesa, and other regions; the contested situation in Kostiantynivka; and Ukraine’s adaptation to FPV warfare through road nets and officer drone training. Finally, I consider the credibility cost of U.S. pressure that appears aimed at Kyiv rather than Moscow.
