Remember Jesus Christ

God’s Message To Us Today

Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 2:1–13

Text Verse: 2 Timothy 2:8

Paul urges weary believers to draw strength from Christ’s grace,

faithfully pass on the gospel, and endure hardship with a soldier's

focus, an athlete’s discipline, and a farmer’s patience. Remembering

the risen and reigning Jesus gives courage because God’s Word

cannot be imprisoned. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper direct faith to

Christ’s finished work and sustaining promises. Though believers

struggle, Christ remains faithful. Therefore, they should persevere in

repentance, obedience, service, prayer, gratitude, and hope, relying

not on themselves alone, but remembering Christ in everything.
