Tom Petty was right. You can stand me up at the gates of Hell, but I won’t back down. Days off? Fucking please. I don’t do that. Not with so much on the line. I’m using my writing and podcasting skills to the best of my ability.

I don’t care if I’m 52. It doesn’t matter if I haven’t taken a complete day off in years. As long as I’m growing this Substack and enjoying the process, it’s ON.

In today’s podcast episode, I talk about how a random message from a Substack subscriber motivated me to continue the daily fight. Even if their intent was to let me know that it’s ok to take a break for my mental health. While I appreciate their message, I have no intention of stopping this thing I started years ago.

Even for one goddamn day. This country is worth fighting for. I hate everything Trump and MAGA-related. I refuse to back down any time soon.
