My Life As A Homeless Comedian: Walking 1,700 Miles Across America | Specialish
Description
'Specialish' follows the journey of a waitress-turned-stand-up comedian who quits her job, packs a cart, and embarks on a bold, nine-month journey to walk 1,700 miles across America, hoping to film her first comedy special along the way. This deeply personal documentary is an intimate look at the physical and psychological toll of a solo trek, confronting crippling self-doubt, bizarre roadside encounters, and the resurfacing trauma of a past sexual assault. From the solitude of the trail to performing in empty dive bars, this is the raw, funny, and sometimes terrifying reality of seeking transformation on the open road.
