I_m house-sitting and the noises behind this locked door are driving me insane
Published 5 days, 13 hours ago
Description
The house is beautiful. The owners are kind. The pay is generous. There's just one rule: don't open the door at the end of the upstairs hallway. I agreed. I signed the contract. I took the keys. But now, three nights in, the noises have started. Scratching. Whimpering. Whispers. And the doorknob is turning from the inside. I don't know what's behind that door. But it knows I'm out here.
