Description
It arrived in a plain brown box with no return address. A stuffed rabbit, soft and worn, with button eyes that seemed to follow me around the room. The listing said it was "vintage" and "one of a kind." It didn't mention the previous owner. It didn't mention what happened to them. It didn't mention that the rabbit wasn't stuffed with cotton. I should have thrown it away. But my daughter found it first. And now she won't let go.
