Can the Ducks Keep Their Playoff Hopes Alive? Final Thoughts Ahead of Oregon vs. Nebraska
Description
Oregon's 2026 season feels like it's on the brink with the Nebraska Cornhuskers coming to Eugene for a Saturday night showdown. ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres and Justin Hopkins weigh in with their final thoughts ahead of the game.
Oregon will be without Dante Moore once again, which likely points to either Dylan Raiola or Brock Thomas as the starting quarterback. A third loss would likely all but eliminate the Ducks from the playoffs. With Ohio State looming on the schedule a few weeks down the road, the next three weeks will be absolutely pivotal for Oregon's season outlook.
Nebraska draws Oregon after playing Indiana tough and squandering away a late lead to fall to the Hoosiers in Lincoln. Oregon's defense has continued to improve throughout the season, but the offense wasted that last week against UCLA.
If Oregon can even get slightly above average play from their offense, they should have a great shot against Nebraska. But a struggling offensive line and a wide receiver group that could be without Evan Stewart only creates more skepticism.
