Demolition makes way for Ryves Court, 21 flats on The Spain
Description
The demotion of Drum Court on the Spain and beside the hospital, is well underway for ABRI who will be building 21 flats there all, at social rents.
Mike Waddington visited the site with Sam Stone and John Kelly from ABRI
John Kelly explains the licensed contractor dealing with the demolition (including any asbestos removal) and measures to suppress dust.
He also mentions a colleague after whom the block will be named , Brian Ryves.

He also mentions the 53 homes (mainly houses) to be built on The Causeway.
We approached the neighbouring residents and one, who didn't want to be recorded, said whilst watching it all, that the builders "have been very considerate."
