#251 - What If Rejection Is Actually Protecting You From Burnout?

Episode 251 Published 1 week, 2 days ago
Description

What if the rejection you're so upset about is actually saving you from something you can't see yet?

I've been thinking about this A LOT lately.

What if some of those opportunities we didn't get were actually giving us room to breathe? What if the timing of our lives is working out better than we realize?

In this episode, I'm sharing a story about how I stopped the momentum of one of my early projects, why I still think about that decision, and what I've learned about letting things unfold without trying to control every single outcome.

We're talking about:

  • Why rejection might not always be a bad thing
  • The difference between resting and losing momentum
  • Learning to enjoy life between jobs and contracts
  • How slowing down helped me meet my husband
  • Why you don't have to be the BEST at a job that isn't your dream
  • Saving your energy for the people and experiences that matter most

And yes, I'm giving you permission to be an NPC. 😂 You'll have to hear me out on that one.

Because maybe success isn't about giving 100% to EVERYTHING.

Maybe it's about knowing what actually deserves your 100%.

What's something you didn't get that you're now grateful didn't work out?
