Episode Details

UNC Tar Heels face ACC media skepticism, landing fifth in preseason polls and notably absent from the preseason All-ACC First and Second Teams. Can standout talents like Jarin Stevenson, Terrence Brown, and Neo Avdalas prove the doubters wrong and elevate North Carolina’s basketball program back to national prominence? Isaac Schade and Josh Marlow break down roster strengths, preseason snubs, and the pressure on head coach Michael Malone to exceed expectations in his debut season.

Key topics include the Tar Heels’ evolving backcourt rotation, the need for aggressive play from Terrence Brown, and Josh Marlow’s identification of young contributors who could break out. The duo preview North Carolina’s upcoming exhibition against Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse—spotlighting frontcourt depth, rebounding battles, and what defines a successful preseason showing. With preseason uncertainties looming, will UNC rise above doubters and cement their place among the ACC elite?
