How the Dolphins Can FIX One of the NFL’s Worst Offenses

Episode 81 Published 3 days, 23 hours ago
Description

The Miami Dolphins enter the bye with one of the NFL’s worst offenses, ranking near the bottom of the league in scoring, yards and EPA per play. Malik Willis has struggled, but Miami’s problems go beyond the quarterback: receivers aren’t consistently getting open, communication mistakes continue and the tight ends have provided little impact.

Wes Goldberg explains how the Dolphins can use their successful running game to make life easier on Willis. More play action, more RPOs and more aggressive passing on first down could create easier opportunities. Coaching can help—but eventually Miami’s young offensive players have to develop and execute.
