Kelly Daugherty is a licensed clinical social worker, Fellow in Thanatology, and grief specialist with more than 25 years of experience supporting people through loss. She runs a private practice in upstate New York focused on acute and traumatic grief, and founded the Center for Informed Grief, where she trains clinicians, schools, and communities to respond to loss with skill and compassion.
Kelly is co-creator and co-host of the GRIEF Ladies podcast and co-author of The GRIEF Ladies Guide: How to Grieve with Love Instead of Pain. She was lead editor of the award-winning Amazon #1 bestseller The Grief Experience.Having lost her mother at 14, Kelly brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her belief that grief is something we learn to carry with love.
