Triple Laser 4K 120Hz Home Projectors With Install Flexibility
Description
6,000 ISO lumens. Triple laser. Native 4K at 120Hz. If those numbers make you stop scrolling, you’re exactly who we had in mind for today’s Inside CI News Brief. We’re looking at XGIMI’s newly unveiled Horizon 30 Series and what it signals for the premium home cinema projector market, especially for UK integrators and clients who want a serious picture in real living rooms, not just in perfectly blacked-out theatres.
We talk through the three-model line-up Horizon 30 Pro, Horizon 30 Max and the flagship Horizon 30 Ultra Max, plus what XGIMI claims has improved over the Horizon 20 range: brightness, native contrast and motion handling. We also dig into the practical image tools that can make or break day-to-day viewing, including a dual intelligent iris system, the Xmaster Red Ring lens, and wide format support such as Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced for better content compatibility.
Install flexibility gets a proper spotlight too. Optical zoom and lens shift can save an install when the projector cannot sit in the “perfect” spot, while tilt and rotation adjustments and multi-slot lens memory help when clients want different screen formats and setups. On the gaming side, we run through native 4K 120Hz playback, VRR, ALLM and AMD FreeSync compatibility, then round things off with Google TV, built-in Harman Kardon audio, and the UK pricing and pre-order bundle details, including the £400 screen voucher.
