Monica Jade Davis From Netflix Love Is Blind - IVF, Fertility, and Finding Her Own Timeline
Description
What if the timeline you thought your life would follow suddenly looked completely different?
Beth sits down with Monica Jade Davis, known from Netflix's Love Is Blind, for an incredibly honest conversation about love, fertility, IVF, and the pressure of feeling of like you are "behind" when life doesn't happen on schedule.
After her experience on Love is Blind, Monica took an honest look at her dating patterns, adjusted accordingly and found her healthiest love at 36. Her journey to motherhood has been far more complicated. As she navigates the emotional roller coaster of IVF, Monica opens up about something many women quietly wrestle with: "I wish I had frozen my eggs earlier." She shares what it feels like to look back at decisions you made before you knew what you know now, the lack of informed consent by doctors, the pressure she felt to have everything figured out, and the emotional toll fertility treatments can take.
But then Monica made a decision that changed the way she was approaching the journey. She stepped away from treatment.
In this raw and vulnerable conversation, Beth and Monica explore what happens when you stop trying to force your life into a timeline and start asking yourself what you actually need. They talk about love after 30, fertility, regret, self-worth, trusting the process, and the courage it takes to pause when everyone around you seems to be moving forward.
If you have ever wondered whether you're running out of time, questioned whether you should have done something differently, or felt like everyone else got the life timeline you were supposed to have, this conversation is for you.
Because sometimes the biggest shift happens when you stop asking, "Am I behind?" and start asking, "What if my life is unfolding exactly as it's supposed to?"
FOLLOW OUR GUEST: Monica Jade Davis
Monica Jade Davis, known for Netflix's Love Is Blind, is opening up about a deeply personal fertility journey that has challenged everything she thought she knew about timing, love, and starting a family. After finding love at 36, Monica and her partner Zac were diagnosed with unexplained infertility and went through four consecutive IVF cycles over eight months. After 90 eggs retrieved and 29 embryos, just one embryo ultimately made it through genetic testing. Monica and Zac have named that embryo "Golden." Now, Monica is sharing the emotional reality behind the numbers, including her decision to pause treatment, her regret about not freezing her eggs earlier, and her determination to hold onto hope while letting go of the timeline she once imagined for herself.
