Episode Details

Is the Nancy Guthrie investigation moving in the right direction? Sheriff Chris Nanos’s recent interview gives us plenty to discuss—and tonight, we’re looking at what his statements could mean for the investigation and his next move.

Retired homicide detective Boomer from Boomer Investigates joins Daniel on the Drunk Turkey Show to break down Sheriff Nanos’s October 9 interview on The Buckmaster Show. We’ll examine what the sheriff stated, what he acknowledged, and why I believe parts of this interview offer encouraging signs about the direction of the investigation.

We’ll also revisit the red sedan discussion, separate what was actually said from what remains unconfirmed, and explore what the next investigative steps could look like. What stands out to a retired homicide detective? Which statements deserve a closer look? And what questions still need answers?

This conversation is about looking beyond the headlines, examining the sheriff’s words in context, and keeping the focus where it belongs: finding answers for Nancy Guthrie and her family.

Join the conversation in the comments: What stood out to you in Nanos’s interview, and what do you think investigators should focus on next?
