Story 1: BOE District 3 Director Vacancy

The Board Director seat for District 3 on the Denver Public Schools Board of Education is currently vacant. In accordance with Colorado law, C.R.S. 22-31-107, any potential applicant for the Office of Director of District shall have been a registered elector of the District for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the appointment and reside in District 3.

Story 2: Early Access Applications Close Oct. 15

The application window for Early Access to kindergarten and first grade is currently open and closes on Thursday, Oct. 15. Families interested in having their child evaluated for possible entry into kindergarten or first grade a year earlier than typical age eligibility (for enrollment beginning in fall 2027) are encouraged to visit the Early Access website, linked in the shownotes.
