When my company went public in 2012, I had multiple seven figures overnight, almost all of it in one stock. On paper I’d made it. In practice, I’d walked into a new game, and the rules didn’t come printed on the box.

At this level, your wealth stops being a number. It becomes a business. And for most people, nobody is running it.
