Back to EpisodesNewcastle 'self-thrashed': how can Jaissle combat the chaos?
Published 4 days, 17 hours ago
Description
Newcastle United away from home in the Premier League on a Monday night is becoming the stuff of nightmares.
A second consecutive 4-1 defeat in such a fixture, the match against Coventry was the same as the trip to Leeds, albeit very different, and it was just as bad, while being much worse.
Get your head around that as we try to map out Matthias Jaissle's options. A wobbly defensive line and misfiring forwards may need to be rotated, but the imbalance in midfield seems just as pivotal.
