Episode Details

Syracuse Orange Basketball struggles in first exhibition under Gerry McNamara, falling 72-52 to powerhouse UConn. With key absences like Mark Morano and an early injury to Aiden Tobiason, Syracuse’s offense faltered, going just 4-for-19 from beyond the arc and hitting only 64% from the free throw line. UConn’s Na'jai Hines dominated in the paint, exposing the Orange’s rebounding woes and setting a high bar for ACC competition.

Jackson Holzer recaps standout moments, including Ryan Moesch’s gritty debut at point guard and the physical play of transfer Luke Wilson. Key topics include questions around Syracuse’s starting lineup, concerns about offensive limitations, and how defensive grit might keep the Orange competitive. Is Syracuse’s roster ready to contend with top-tier teams, or will offensive growing pains hold them back this season? Get all the insights and fan-focused discussion as the McNamara era kicks off.
