The Abbott And Costello Show - "Christmas Program" (Old Time Radio, 1947)
Published 5 days, 11 hours ago
Description
The Abbott And Costello Show presents “Christmas Program,” originally broadcast December 24, 1947. In this ABC holiday edition, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello trade seasonal jokes, talk presents and relatives, and plug their new film, The Wistful Widow of Wagon Gap.
As Lou prepares for a Christmas party, a sleepy moment leads into a warmly comic holiday reminiscence featuring Santa Claus. Susan Miller performs “Winter Wonderland,” with music led by Matty Malneck.
The Abbott And Costello Show presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
