Episode Details

On this edition of Indian Updates, senior Punjab journalist Pritam Singh Rupal joins Radio Haanji presenter Ranjodh Singh to break down major administrative and political clashes shaping Punjab and New Delhi. The broadcast examines the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Punjab, where over 20 lakh voter entries were eliminated without triggering the public unrest seen across other Indian states. The discussion moves to the national capital, evaluating the Congress-led United Front march to the Supreme Court against alleged vote manipulation, legal relief granted to the Delhi Chief Minister's OSD, and the contentious de-notification of Jantar Mantar as a protest venue.
