Episode Details

Malik Willis has struggled through five games as the Miami Dolphins’ starting quarterback, ranking last among full-time starters in passer rating, completion percentage, touchdown passes and passing yards per game. But Jeff Hafley isn’t considering a change—and Wes Goldberg thinks that’s the right call.

The important part of Hafley’s answer isn’t simply “Malik is our quarterback.” It’s that Miami has played only five games. Willis is operating with three rookie receivers, a rookie tight end and without De’Von Achane. The Dolphins need to simplify the offense, speed up his processing and finally weaponize his legs before making any long-term conclusions.
