Episode Details

Syracuse Orange Basketball sets ambitious sights under new head coach Gerry McNamara, challenging players to give fans a reason to believe again after years of underperformance. Can McNamara’s relentless, team-first mentality spark immediate improvement and restore national relevance? The show spotlights key voices from ACC Media Day, including McNamara, Gavin Doty, and Aiden Tobiason, and explores how player development, grit, and high-stakes recruiting could tip the scales.

Jackson Holzer and Neil Adler break down Doty’s revelations about every Siena player getting better under McNamara, raising expectations for sophomores like Kiyan Anthony and Sadiq White. The conversation covers Syracuse’s high-profile recruitment win with five-star prospect Moussa Kamissoko and the program’s evolving roster strategies in the NIL and transfer portal era. With questions swirling around NCAA Tournament prospects and the upcoming UConn exhibition, all eyes are on whether McNamara’s words—and actions—will translate into wins for Orange fans.
