Episode Details

What makes a strong community—and what can we do to make ours better?

In Episode 89 of After The Bell, the Stunt Brothers welcome back Kulvir Mann, an eight-year North Vancouver school district trustee, tireless community volunteer, and candidate for District of North Vancouver Council.

Together, we explore why volunteerism matters, why local elections deserve our attention, and how residents can make their voices heard. Kulvir discusses affordable housing, traffic congestion, public transit, the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant, emergency preparedness, and the importance of accountability in public leadership.

She also reflects on her achievements in education, the challenges women face in politics, and the power of building relationships through community service.

Her message? If you want change, speak up, get involved, volunteer, and vote.

It's a conversation about leadership, education, civic responsibility, and building a community where everyone feels welcome, included, connected, and supported.

Listen in as the Stunt Brothers take  the After The Bell podcast beyond the classroom and into the heart of the community.
