Published 2 weeks, 6 days ago
Description
20 years ago today a shock storm brought nearly two feet of snow, knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of people, and destroyed or damaged 57,000 trees in WNY. Paul Maurer established ReTree WNY after the storm, which he refers to as "arborgeddon". The nonprofit's work continues today, replacing trees that fell during the storm two decades ago.
