Nine years ago, I hired a private detective to find my son in California. He had been homeless on the street and I barely recognized him. But today I’m SOOO grateful he's sitting across from me and he’s sober in my adorable studio. 💛
By popular demand, Sheldon is BACK, and this time we're talking about addiction, family, and the long road to recovery.
Sheldon explains why people remain in addiction far longer than anyone expects them to and how drugs literally hijack the brain. Sheldon also shares how this all started. He talks about the day his father left us, and the deep need for a man to simply see him. I open up about the family history of addiction I grew up in, and the hope I hold onto today. Sheldon said it best: God will move mountains, but you have to bring a wheelbarrow and a shovel.
