Ghost Rockets of Scandinavia: Unidentified Fires on the Post‑War Sky
Episode 718
Published 1 day ago
Description
This episode explores the 1946 wave of cigar‑shaped rocket sightings across Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland – a mix of civilian reports, radar returns, and recovered debris that sparked government investigations amid Cold‑War tensions. We examine meteor shower coincidences, Soviet missile tests, radar limitations, and human perception to unpack why the case remains both compelling and inconclusive.
